Join CAAR for the February General Membership Meeting taking place on Thurs., Feb. 8th, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the Hillsdale Conference Center.  We will be hosting a concise session titled, "APPLES, ORANGES AND KUMQUATS: Comparing and Contrasting Contract Forms". With no holds barred on foraging into any geographic real estate market, buyers make offers on standard forms in use in the locations of their selling agents.  This expected practice proves a challenge for listing agents accustomed to their preferred standard forms.  This panel discussion will highlight conspicuous differences among the six most frequently used forms for offers to purchase.  Time will be allowed for questions and for information-sharing by agents who have encountered unfamiliar standard forms.  Be prepared to see the differences among apples, oranges, and kumquats.
