Join CAAR and help the Albemarle Housing Improvement Program (AHIP) with a hands-on build day. We need eight volunteers for this shift. Details on the family we will be helping are coming soon!

Who we will help: Ms. Johnson and her brother Charles who suffers from a development disability that requires full-time care. Help us build a ramp from Brenda's front porch that will allow safe access to their home.

Dress with the intention that you are going to get dirty. AHIP t-shirt are available at the CAAR office and will be on-site.

Scope of work can include painting, building, etc. Tools will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own work gloves.

Corbin Breaud (434-826-9731), AHIP's Volunteer Coordinator, will be leading the project.
