Tucker, William
Charlottesville attorney William D. Tucker, III is the founding partner of Tucker Griffin Barnes P.C., and one of Charlottesville’s leading experts in real estate law. Collison “Chip” F. Royer’s focus is on providing effective, efficient and responsive counsel to his clients. He specializes in real estate (including residential development, leasing, construction, commercial/industrial land acquisition and finance), business, and banking.


From difficult title issues to contract negotiations to outside the box financing structures, Chip specializes in all aspects of the purchase and sale of large residential development and commercial properties. Chip regularly helps businesses with formation, sales/acquisitions and business redevelopment strategy/workouts.

Chip also represents buyers and sellers of residential real estate. Having conducted thousands of closings, he is experienced with all aspects of the buying and selling process and enjoys being personally involved in each transaction. Chip regularly assists home buyers and sellers with title issues and contract matters. Chip has also helped numerous clients with construction loans and all other aspects of custom home building.

Student that register for classes/event that are FREE for members will be charged a no-show fee of $10 after not attending the class/event. Cancellation requests will be accepted through 5:00 p.m. two business days preceding each class.
