Virginia Agency Law Review is a class reviewing the Real Estate
Agency law of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Students will review
definitions/vocabulary in the agency law, understand the history
and current agency laws that govern their real estate business and
the disclosure duties, and understand the VAR policy, VREB
laws/rules and common problems that arise and how to handle these
problems.
This course offers 1 hour CE credit.

Guthrie, Michael
Michael Guthrie is the CEO and Managing Broker of Roy Wheeler Realty in Charlottesville, VA. He joined the company in November of 2005 after Managing real estate companies in Northern Virginia for 22 years. The company now has 6 offices and 110 Realtor Associates. Michael graduated from the University of Virginia in 1975 and received his Masters from UVA in 1976. He has been married to Dottie for 35 years and have three children 32, 30, and 27. Michael served as CAAR’s President in 2009 and was named its Realtor of the Year in 2010. He was also named the Chamber of Commerce Small Business Person of the year in 2010. Michael is a strong supporter of UVa athletics and currently serves on the Christian Study Center and Virginia Association of Realtors. He hosts a weekly radio show, Real Estate Matters on WINA every Saturday morning.
